Oracle's Web site can be a bit of a mess, and I find it often very difficult to figure out what's going on. So I find the best source of current information about Oracle products is often from blogs of various experts out on the Web.
I particularly like Mark Rittman's blog, which unfortunately I don't read as often as I should. He always seems to have the latest scoop on Oracle's product direction (at least as it's defined now, Oracle seems to change direction at a whim these days).
